It all starts here when George – still in his early twenties answers the call and picks up the  craft of olive oil. He studied the land, learned the craft and steadily built everything from the ground up.

George meets Petra who comes with a different perspective but the same standards. Together they slowly start building the business from scratch, one harvest at a time.

Almost 25 years have passed, the business grew and so did the family. Michalis and Maria still in their teens, picked things up naturally and gradually became part of the work.

Four decades of experience and hard work and George is still going forward. Michalis is now fully part of the operation and together they’re taking things further than ever.

Our story starts where it should — in the soil. In the Mani peninsula of southern Greece, olive trees don’t just grow on the land. They are the land. They’ve shaped the landscape, the culture, and the people here for as long as anyone can remember. And for our family, they shaped everything.

Our father – George – was born in 1965 and started working with olive trees in his twenties. Not as a hobby, not as a side venture but as a calling. He spent his days learning the craft and studying the land. Our mother, who grew up in Germany, brought a different perspective but the same deep love for what olive oil could be. Together, they started from nothing and built something real, one harvest at a time.

It wasn’t fast. It wasn’t easy. But patience is something you learn quickly when you work with olive trees.

The next generation of our family is now part of this too. We’re growing what our parents built — carefully, with the same values they instilled in us — while opening it up to more of the world. We want people everywhere to taste what real Mani olive oil is like, and to understand the hands and the history behind it.

That’s our simple goal. Honest oil. Genuine heritage.

With more than 40 years of experience working with olive trees, we know that exceptional olive oil starts long before the pressing begins. Our olives are hand-picked at the optimal stage of ripeness and carefully selected to ensure only the highest quality fruit moves forward.

Within hours of harvest, the olives are cold-pressed at low temperatures to preserve their natural aromas, nutrients, and distinctive character. This process helps maintain the fresh, fruity flavour that Mani olive oil is known for while keeping acidity levels naturally low.

The result is a premium extra virgin olive oil that reflects both our land and our experience — clean, balanced, and full of the authentic taste of southern Greece. Every bottle is produced with the same care and attention that has guided our family for generations.
